The pomegranates are made from carefully layered and stitched fabrics, with intricate free-motion quilting adding texture and dimension. The rich red and magenta tones are enhanced with hand-applied beads and shimmering sequins, giving the fruit a beautiful jewel-like quality.
The background is hand dyed by me, creating a soft, painterly turquoise-blue surface that makes the pomegranates stand out.
Every detail—from the fabric composition and quilting to the embellishments—is part of my original artwork.
